When it comes to remotely monitoring your traps, PERDIXPro trap tags have been designed to be hassle-free and extremely easy to use in the field, whether the user is experienced with technology or not. No need for bits of string or magnets like older-style monitoring systems - just attach the tag, activate in PERDIXPro Trapping via your Portal or app and you're done.
Choose how your tag is activated - Tilt or Vibration?
PERDIXPro trap tags can be supplied with either Tilt or Vibration activation. Tilt is used when the tag is being attached to a trap door on a live-capture cage or box trap, while vibration is used when the tag is attached to another part of a live-capture trap or attached to the housing of a spring (kill) trap or leg-hold. They can be easily attached using standard or stainless steel cage ties or screwed onto trap housing and tunnels.
No shortage of capture alert options
Capture-alerts, set up via the portal and/ or App, can be received directly within your account or via push notifications, email and / or SMS (Text) . In addition, our unique SMS Alert Group feature also allows non-PERDIXPro users to receive SMS's of door status when using Tilt tags.
Build your own digital project
The PERDIXPro system has been designed to allow users to fully customise the structure of their account. By using our dynamic functionality, users can create a digital mirror of their organisation, company or project in no time.
Device inventory and health
A list of all your trap tags (and other devices) will be shown in your Device Inventory. Here you can manage subscriptions, assignment of devices within your structure and view use history. There is also a Device Health page that provides comprehensive information on the health of your trap tags, including battery life, signal strength, door status (if using tilt tags), vibration events (if using vibration tags) and heart beats, Trap tag health can also be viewed in the PERDIXpro app.
PERDIXPro Forms
All your trapping activity data are held securely the PERDIXPro Forms section of your account. Here you can view individual submissions or download all of your data to your PC or Laptop.
Built to be secure and reliable
Built using the latest LPWA 4G LTE-M / NB IoT cellular (mobile) technology and housed in an ultra rugged case (IP68 & IK06 rated), the PERDIXPro Small Trap Tag is designed to last and work even in harhest and most remote landscapes. If you are struggling to get signal using another more basic trap alert system, try a PERDIXPro tag, you'll be amazed at the difference. Despite being smaller than our standard trap tags, the 3 x AAA batteries are able to last for up to 4 years with light use but a life of 2 years is more realistic during normal use.
PERDIXPro Trap Tag connection fees
We provide two options for PERDIXPro connection; Short Term Subscriptions or Project Packages.
Short Term Subscriptions
These are designed for short term trapping projects where the tags will be deployed for a few months each year or the project will last for up to 2 years. Users activate a tag's subscription whenever required in their PERDIXPro portal. Trap tags can be activated for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months depending on your project duration. Short Term Subscriptions start at £5 per month (excludes VAT where applicable). There are no charges for the tags when not being used. Project Packages
Our packages are designed for projects that wish to combine the cost of the tag and subscription in one upfront payment. This saves money and reduces administration time and costs. It is also often favourable when applying for capital items via a grant. Project packages are available for 3 or 5 years and include:
- A small trap tag.
- A set of AAA batteries (Energizer Lithium).
- Tag connection to PERDIXPro for the duration of the package i.e. 3 or 5 years.
- Extended tag warranty for the duration of a package. Standard warranty is 2 years.
- Subscriptions start at time of tag delivery or on a prior agreed date.
- Unable to move devices between different accounts during a package period.
