With it's compact size and many easy to use features, the BolyGuard SG520 is a fantastic trail camera for quick short-term deployments for both wildlife and security applications. While small, the SG520 has an impressive array of features including a low-glow IR flash range of 21m (70ft) and an adjustable PIR sensor that will detect activity up to 25m (80ft) away. 

With it's compact size and many easy to use features, the BolyGuard SG520 is a fantastic trail camera for quick short-term deployments for both wildlife and security applications. While small, the SG520 has an impressive array of features including a low-glow IR flash range of 21m (70ft) and an adjustable PIR sensor that will detect activity up to 25m (80ft) away.  The SG520 has three image capture modes, 1) photo, 2) video and 3) photo & video and can take up to 16 megapixel photo's and 60 seconds of 1080P video both day and night. The 1.44" colour LCD screen is used for changing settings and viewing captured photo's. Uses 4 x AA batteries and supports up to 32GB SD/SDHC cards.

Our opinion:

The SG520 is an inexpensive, solid and no-frills trail camera. We see this camera as the perfect short-term surveillance tool that can be kept handy in the glove box or backpack ready to be used as and when required.
