Locks

Because of the where and how they are used, trail cameras are always going to be vulnerable to unwanted interference and even theft. While we would always recommend using simple techniques to reduce the risk of the camera being spotted in the first place, e.g. setting the trail camera above or below the line of sight, pointing the camera across a trail rather than down it and making use of both natural and artificial camouflage e.g. Camoform tape, it is inevitable that in some situations cameras will be spotted. As a last line of defense we would highly recommend using a Master Lock Python Cable Lock. PERDIX stocks four types of Python cable lock for trail cameras. Cable locks come with a 5, 8 or 10mm cable and can be keyed alike to help logistics in the field. Please contact us if you require any further advice on trail camera security.
