In addition to all spring traps sold by PERDIX being approved for use under the Spring Traps Approval Order in the UK they also meet international animal welfare standards such as The Agreement on International Humane Trapping Standards (AIHTS) and /or The New Zealand National Animal Welfare Committee (NAWAC).  In addition to the supply of quality spring traps, PERDIX also supplies a range of trapping tunnels to improve capture rates, minimise non-target captures and ensure quick and humane dispatch.  For instance, the PERDIX Rat and Squirrel Trapping Tunnels were designed and field-tested by us to vastly improve trapping efficiency through pre-baiting and the use of two spring traps in a single tunnel. The tunnels also incorporate wire baffles to correctly position an animal for a humane kill and minimise entry from non-target species.
