Moultrie Automatic Feeder Kit

Supply the right amount of food at the right time. The Moultrie Automatic Feeder can be programmed via its digital display to feed up to 4 times daily. Feed times can also be set to between 1 and 20 seconds, thereby giving control of the amount of food provided. The adjustable mount makes mounting to most barrels and other containers used as feeders easy - fixings supplied. Operated using 4 x AA batteries (not included) or via the external power jack for a 6V battery or solar panel. Housing made from ABS plastic with a metal spin plate.

Spread rates:

Our tests have found that when feeding wheat, approximately 125g is spread when the automatic feeder is set to a one second spin. A further 75g is spread ever second after this. Therefore, when set to a four second spin, 350g of wheat is spread.  100g grams of wheat equals 2000 - 2500 grains.  We have also tested the spread rate when feeding a standard farmland bird supplemental mix and found it to be very similar to those for wheat.

When feeding wheat and set at a height of 1m above the ground, the Moultrie Automatic Feeder will distribute grains up to a radius of 2 m (6.5ft).

Optional Feeder Guard:

The PERDIX mesh guard is specially designed to prevent unwanted visitors accessing food via the spinning plate of the Moultrie Automatic Feeder Kit when fabricating your own feeder.
The PERDIX Automatic Feeder Guard measures 245mm across and 115mm high. The diameter for the fixings is approx. 270mm.
