The PERDIX 5.5g Glue-on tracking transmitter model is designed for use on small birds, mammals and reptiles where the tag is attached via gluing. Standard battery lifespan ranges from 110 to 165 days depending on power output. Pulse spacing can be increased to extend battery life if required. All models are encapsulated using a very tough inert waterproof epoxy resin and come with a mortality sensor and our ‘one-touch’ on/off magnet-activated reed switch. These transmitters are often used in conjunction with GPS tags.
