The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team and support the continued development of PERDIXPro, our wildlife management and monitoring digital platform. This is a hands-on and varied role that will involve everything from testing and refining digital tools, helping customers use the platform and assisting with field-based product trials.

Job Title: Support Assistant (for PERDIX Digital)
Location: PERDIX Fordingbridge office (to include a mix of remote, office and on-location support)
Contract: Part-time, flexible hours
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline support to customers using the PERDIXPro platform and mobile app.

  • Assist with the testing of new features, tools, and devices in both digital and field settings.

  • Help manage digital content and user documentation (e.g. guides and FAQs).

  • Gather user feedback and relay insights to the development team.

  • Support the setup and delivery of projects, trials, and demonstrations.

  • Contribute to product development conversations, bringing a user-focused perspective.

  • Assist with project and platform administration.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in ecology, land management, and/or conservation.

  • Curiosity and confidence in using and exploring technology.

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.

  • Ability to be flexible and manage a varied workload.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits, events or field testing.

  • Practical mindset and comfort working outdoors when needed.

  • Organised and detail-oriented with good time management.

Desirable Skills (but not essential)

  • Experience using digital tools or data collection apps in the field.

  • Background in ecology, wildlife conservation, or a related discipline.

  • Familiarity with GIS, mapping tools, or sensor-based technologies.

  • Content creation (e.g. writing guides and social media).
