The 0.27g tag is our smallest transmitter and often used for the smallest bat species where the transmitter can be glued to the back of the animal. All micro models are encapsulated with a very tough waterproof epoxy resin. Our 0.27g micro VHF tag is activated by soldering together two external wires.

Description

The PERDIX micro transmitter model has a battery life of 15 days and is designed for projects where an extremely small VHF radio tag is required. The 0.27g tag is our smallest transmitter and often used for the smallest bat species where the transmitter can be glued to the back of the animal. All micro models are encapsulated with a very tough waterproof epoxy resin. Our 0.27g micro VHF tag is activated by soldering together two external wires. 

Our transmitters have been designed and tested by wildlife biologists with extensive experience of radio-tracking various species around the world.
